Currently, there is no place where all hot wallet hacks are collected, but it does not mean they do not happen. In contrast, every few months, some wallet is hacked! But we rarely see these hacks in the news. This is why we decided to create this page. This is a list of some wallet hacks that we were able to find. Be aware and know that no crypto wallet is unhackable!

The Atomic Wallet team does not know or has not published the reasons for the hacks. One of the reasons they mention possible viruses on the user side, but most likely, it is a problem on their side.

The unknown hack was used to steal assets from multiple wallets, including MetaMask. No one was able to find the reason. The most problematic explanation, someone was able to hack the private keys generation algorithm for wallets created between 2014-2022. If it is true, the same group probably will be able to hack new algorithms in the future.
